5 years agoThe Miami Marlins have procured the services of outfielder Starling Marte, who will be dealt by the Arizona Diamondbacks after just 33 games with the club. Marte has slashed .311/.384/.443 to begin the season, producing a 123 OPS+, on pace for his highest mark since 2014. It’s likely that Marte holds down everyday duties in center field with Lewis Brinson now facing a difficult path to consistent playing time in the short term. The shift from Chase Field to Marlins Park shouldn’t affect Marte’s fantasy stock too drastically over the next month with owners being able to proceed and operate as usual.--Jesse Borek
