4 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Isan Diaz has reportedly already rejoined the club ahead of his attempt to be reinstated to the 2020 year after having opted out back in July due to COVID-19 concerns. Diaz would mark just the second player in the league to pivot after Braves outfielder Nick Markakis did so earlier in August. With Diaz back in the fray, Miami dealt infielder Jonathan Villar to Toronto, paving the way for Diaz to claim full-time duties at the keystone. Once regarded as a top 60 prospect, Diaz has struggled through the early stages of his big league career, but has high upside in keepers formats as a high batting average asset.--Jesse Borek
