4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka (oblique) is expected to return from the injured list within the next couple of days, according to manager Aaron Boone. Higashioka may be in line for a larger than usual workload over the rest of the season given that the Yankees are scheduled for four doubleheaders over the rest of the season (with the potential for more to come), and catcher Erik Kratz got into seven of 12 possible games since Higashioka landed on the injured list on August 15. Still, Higashioka isn’t much of a fantasy option given his career .541 OPS, and Erik Kratz may wind up taking from Higashioka’s playing time.--Sam Chinitz
