4 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-handed pitcher Julio Teheran will be back among the starting staff for Wednesday’s contest against the Padres. Teheran made just one appearance out of relief before starting during a doubleheader out of necessity last Tuesday. Through his first five appearances of 2020, Teheran has yielded 18 runs in 17 ⅔ frames, including six home runs. Despite not being hit particularly hard this year, the veteran righty has yielded a .338 xBA, which ranks among the lowest two percentile of all pitchers in the Majors. He can be safely avoided Wednesday versus a thundering San Diego offense.--Jesse Borek
