4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins is battling for the starting QB job alongside Alex Smith, but despite any second-year mistakes, Haskins is impressing the new coaching staff in D.C. Haskins worked entirely with the first-team offense Monday, with many close to the situation believing that the starting gig is all but his when the team takes the field Week 1 against Philadelphia. While Haskins isn’t much of a single-season season-long asset entering drafts, he has some keepers league appeal with three multi-touchdown games to his credit as a rookie. Haskins will have to play well to fend off Smith moving forward, but the Washington staff appears content with letting him learn on the job.--Jesse Borek
