Wil Myers Smacks Ninth Homer
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers finished 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday against the Colorado Rockies. Myers cranked a fourth inning offering from starter German Marquez into the seats for his ninth long ball. The 29-year-old continues his fantastic bounce back campaign, slashing .293/.365/.602 with 46 runs-plus-RBI and a steal to supplement the homers. With a .416 xwOBA and 17 percent barrel rate, Myers performance seems legitimate and he’s firmly back in the mix as a reliable fantasy asset.
