4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton was activated from the injured list prior to Tuesday’s contest against the White Sox and left-hander Dallas Keuchel, reentering the lineup at the No. 7 spot in the order. Buxton has been out of the mix since Aug. 19 as he battles a shoulder ailment. Despite his defensive prowess, Buxton has not proven a reliable offensive commodity by posting a .681 OPS through his first 21 games, in addition to drawing just one walk to go along with 20 strikeouts. He has been a non-factor in 13 home games this year, having gone just 3-for-39 without an extra-base hit while at Target Field.--Jesse Borek
