4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Alex Wood will rejoin the club ahead of Tuesday’s contest against Arizona, but he’ll be headed to the bullpen for the time being. Wood had been on the IL since July 28 due to inflammation in his pitching shoulder, which likely would prohibit him from going deep into games at this stage anyway. The southpaw has been limited to just eight starts over the past two seasons due to injury, with 12 relief appearances as a Dodger in his career already under his belt. Combining the injuries with the loss of a consistent starting gig, Wood can remain on the wire in all formats at this stage.--Jesse Borek
