4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was placed on the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday’s contest against the D-backs due to a lingering hamstring injury. Turner hasn’t been in the lineup since Friday, with Edwin Rios holding down the hot corner against left-hander Alex Young on Tuesday. A strong on-base asset again in 2020 (.384), Turner’s power has been lacking (two HR’s) despite an elevated launch angle. He’ll miss at least the next week due to the ailment, but will retain season-long intrigue again upon his activation.--Jesse Borek
