Josh Allen Represents High Upside QB1 Selection
4 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen enters the 2020 campaign as a borderline QB1 in most season-long drafts. Despite just a 58.8% completion percentage last year, Allen’s use of his legs to add 510 yards and nine touchdowns pops him up draft boards. Allen made the Bills’ offense go last year without many household names at the skill positions and now gets to welcome Stefon Diggs aboard. Most importantly, Allen looked the part against divisional opponents last year, having compiled eight passing and three rushing scores in essentially five games versus the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots. Owners are likely best served still drafting a QB to compete with Allen for when he faces stingy defensive matchups, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility to see him finish the year as a top-eight scoring signal caller.
