4 years agoNew England Patriots running back James White had been a favored target of Tom Brady over the past six seasons, but with Cam Newton now the leader to be the team’s signal caller Week 1, White’s fantasy outlook remains much more up in the air. Sony Michel will be the likely lead rusher for the Patriots, while White figures to be featured more in passing situations. With at least 900 yards from scrimmage in each of the past two years, White has a solid floor entering 2020, but it comes in a New England offense that is largely a question mark when it opens the year versus Miami. Those owners who opt to nab him in season-long formats can likely utilize him as a Flex in the best-case scenario, while his primary appeal will come in DFS against those defenses who struggle to limit pass-catching backs.--Jesse Borek
