4 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates get two key contributors back Wednesday with right-hander Joe Musgrove (triceps) set to take the mound after being activated off of the injured list, while outfielder Bryan Reynolds also rejoins the team after a stint on the paternity list. Musgrove will start against the Cubs on Wednesday, marking his first outing since Aug. 4 due to inflammation in his right triceps. Reynolds is not back among the starting nine, with Anthony Alford making his first Pirates start in the outfield. Musgrove holds more fantasy appeal of the two over the final month, but he’ll be looking to right the ship after yielding 11 runs through his first 14 2/3 frames this season.--Jesse Borek
