4 years agoLas Vegas Raiders cornerback Damon Arnette has excelled so much during training camp that the organization felt confident moving on from veteran Prince Amukamara. But as of Wednesday, it was revealed that Arnette is dealing with a fractured thumb, which has him in a soft cast with 11 days until the team’s season opener. Should Arnette be forced to miss time, Lamarcus Joyner would presumably fill his spot, although there has been no indication that the Raiders would be without their first-round pick when they take on the Panthers. The Las Vegas defense already sat on the periphery of season-long drafts, with Arnette’s malady only further complicating its status.--Jesse Borek
