Jakob Junis Leaves Start After Being Hit By Line Drive
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis left his start on Wednesday after being hit by a 107 mph line drive in his pitching arm. It’s not clear if Junis is seriously injured or if the Royals are just being extra cautious, but a line drive to the chest has kept Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (chest) out for more than three weeks so far, and Junis may face an extended absence. Fantasy players should monitor Junis’s health over the coming days but plan for the 27-year-old to miss his next start or two at least.
