Jordan Montgomery Lasts Less Than One Inning On Tuesday
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery allowed four runs over only 0.2 innings against the Rays on Tuesday. The Rays capitalized on a pair of poorly placed pitches for two long home runs against Montgomery, accounting for all four runs that Montgomery allowed. Montgomery has now thrown fewer than 70 pitches in each of his last three starts (half of his starts this season), and Montgomery’s lack of length combined with his mediocre performance (4.44 ERA coming into Wednesday’s game) means that fantasy managers can feel comfortable leaving him on waivers for now.
