4 years agoHouston Astros centerfielder George Springer went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the Astros win Thursday over the Rangers. Springer has really struggled to get going offensively this season, slashing only .222/.354/.389 over his last 54 at-bats. It is, however, a positive sign to see Springer fare better at Minute Maid Park, where he is posting a dismal .608 OPS this season. After a career season in 2019, the free-agent-to-be has disappointed to this point but can post top-notch fantasy production as well as any elite hitter in the game. Fantasy teams that have Springer rostered in their lineups need to cross their fingers that Thursday's performance is a sign of more prosperous games ahead.--Joey C - RotoBaller
