4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman/designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is not among the starting nine for Game 2 of the club’s doubleheader against the Red Sox. Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts during the afternoon affair, dropping his OPS on the season to .770 through his first 37 contests. Should Guerrero not appear off the bench late Friday, it would mark his first absence of the year. Guerrero has been a much more appealing fantasy asset when at Sahlen Field, with his OPS nearly 300 points higher at home (.953, vs. .667 on the road).--Jesse Borek
