4 years agoHouston Astros right-handed pitcher Chris Devenski was activated from the injured list prior to Friday’s contest against the Angels, although manager Dusty Baker indicated that Devenski won’t be used until Saturday. The righty hasn’t appeared since July 26 due to a sore right elbow, with Joe Biagini being optioned to the club’s alternate site to pave way on the roster. After an All-Star campaign in 2017, Devenski has yielded 22 home runs in 116 ⅓ innings over the last two seasons, which limits his fantasy intrigue despite the Astros’ convoluted bullpen situation.--Jesse Borek
