4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo pitched well in a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 1 of a Friday doubleheader. Castillo allowed two runs over six innings while striking out eight and walking two to pick up his first win of the 2020 season. Castillo now has a 1-5 record, 3.95 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 60 strikeouts in 43 1/3 innings of work. The young hurler has not lived up to fantasy gamers' expectations this season but he is starting to trend upwards, having allowed just seven earned runs over his past three starts. Castillo will look to keep it going in his next start, which will come against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
