4 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Luis Campusano has been scratched from Saturday’s starting nine against Oakland and left-hander Sean Manaea due to a sore left hand. Austin Nola will slide back behind the dish, allowing Jorge Mateo to enter the lineup as the DH. Campusano arrived in the big leagues with a home run Friday, showcasing his potential as the club’s No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline. While the ailment isn’t a step in the right direction, the fact that he was slated to play back-to-back games was; when healthy, Campusano has some significant DFS appeal while remaining an upside selection for aggressive fantasy owners in deeper season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
