4 years agoKansas City Royals right-handed pitcher Matt Harvey will rejoin the club’s rotation for Sunday’s contest against the White Sox. Harvey worked out of relief Thursday, but threw just 12 pitches, which shouldn’t hamper his workload, although he is likely to be used merely as an opener. Despite his return to the starting staff, fantasy managers are likely best served looking elsewhere for production as the righty has allowed 18 hits and 12 runs through his first 7 ⅔ frames. The Royals appear committed to giving Harvey a look over the final three-plus weeks of the 2020 season, although his metrics back up how hard he has been hit to this stage.--Jesse Borek
