David Johnson Facing High Expectations This Year
4 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson will have the pressure on him this season with the Texans as he looks to be a factor for the team and prove he can be a workhorse back in the NFL again. Houston made headlines earlier this offseason for trading elite wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals for Johnson, a move that was panned by many. The RB is coming off a relatively disappointing final season with the Cardinals where he appeared in 13 games and managed 94 rushes, 345 rush yards, two rush touchdowns, 47 targets, 36 receptions, 370 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns. Assuming he stays healthy and takes on a decent workload, Johnson can be a solid RB2 in 2020.
