4 years agoOvince St. Preux (25-14) shined in his return to light heavyweight, dismantling prospect Alonzo Menifield. Though St. Preux only landed 33 significant strikes in nine minutes of action, one of those was a solid left hand that floored Menifield 4:07 into the second round. With Jon Jones vacating the light-heavyweight title and with this big win, St. Preux is on the short list to contend for the title. Along with that comes much tougher matchups against fighters that are unlikely to fall for Von Flue chokes or get too aggressive to eat a giant left hand.
