A.J. Green Looks To Return To Form In Week 1
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green will see the field for the first time in nearly two years against the Chargers in Week 1. The former Pro Bowler is arguably the most impactful wideout in Bengals' history, amassing 602 catches for 8,907 yards and 63 touchdowns. However, after tearing the ligaments in his ankle during training camp of last season, many have reservations as to whether or not he can return to prominence after eight seasons of service. In 2020, the 32-year-old will catch passes from rookie signal-caller Joe Burrow, who will also be protected by one of the league's worst offensive lines. Nonetheless, despite the apprehension of those who drafted Green and his rocky previous few seasons from a health perspective, his ceiling is still higher than most. He should remain classified as a must-start in all formats against Los Angeles.
