Brandin Cooks Is Risky Week 1 Play
4 years agoWith no preseason, familiarity could be more important than ever at the beginning of the 2020 NFL season. That might not be great news for fantasy managers who've rostered Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks. A talented receiver, Cooks has two key things working against him in Week 1: it's his first game as a Texan, and he faces the Kansas City Chiefs, who allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers last season. Cooks is still a solid season-long player, but it might be a good idea to keep him on the bench this week in shallower formats until we start to see his rapport with quarterback Deshaun Watson.
