4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle pitched well in a 3-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. Mahle allowed three runs over seven innings while walking one and striking out 10. It was an excellent effort from Mahle but his offense wasn't able to get anything going against Chicago starter Alec Mills in the contest. Mahle now has a 1-2 record, 3.89 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts in 37 innings of work. He should remain active in fantasy leagues for his next start, which will come against the St. Louis Cardinals.--Matt T - RotoBaller
