4 years agoHouston Astros starter Justin Verlander (forearm) is scheduled to throw a 50-55-pitch bullpen session on Wednesday evening, according to manager Dusty Baker. Verlander has not pitched since July 24, but there is a legitimate possibility that he could return to the team before the end of the season. Assuming there are no setbacks, the 37-year-old may be back in the rotation for the final few weeks of the campaign. It would be a big boost for the Astros and fantasy managers alike.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
