Michael Conforto Homers Again On Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the Mets' 7-6 win over the Orioles on Wednesday. Conforto continues his blistering season and is now batting .340 with eight home runs and 27 RBI in 162 at-bats. Conforto has far exceeded fantasy manager expectations in 2020 and has been one of the Mets' most consistent hitters. At 27-years old, we are seeing a breakout season from Conforto that builds off of his 2019 campaign in which he hit .257 with 33 HR and 92 RBI. Unfortunately, however, we won't get a chance to see what he could have done in a full 162-game season due to the abbreviated 2020 schedule. Conforto's stock has risen considerably and he should be a top-100 draft pick heading into 2021 drafts. As for the remainder of 2020, managers should deploy Conforto in their starting lineups without hesitation.
