4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb was designated for assignment on Thursday evening. The oft-injured 29-year-old has dealt with long stretches of inconsistency during his time in the Major Leagues. He is currently slashing .116/.240/.140 across 43 at-bats in 2020 to go along with a 34-percent strikeout rate. A team may show interest in the former 30-homer, 100-RBI man, but any transaction would likely come in the 2021 season.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
