4 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Nola will get the start behind the dish Thursday against San Francisco and right-hander Trevor Cahill, bypassing Jason Castro, who figured to see the vast majority of starts versus righties over the final two-plus weeks. The Padres have a plethora of catching options in the wake of their Trade Deadline moves, but with Luis Campusano (wrist) on the IL, the move to roll with Nola comes as something of a surprise. Those hoping to have Castro in their DFS lineups will have to pivot, while Nola will bat fifth.--Jesse Borek
