4 years agoNew York Yankees left-handed pitcher James Paxton is what manager Aaron Boone describes as “a little sore” after throwing his most recent session Wednesday. That soreness will force him to sit at least the next few days, further clouding his timeline for a potential return prior to the start of the postseason. Fantasy managers hanging onto Paxton with the hopes of getting another regular season start can likely begin looking elsewhere, as the flexor strain in his left forearm is likely to prevent him from ramping up without some setbacks.
