4 years agoRoxanne Modafferi (24-17) was unable to capitalize on her huge win over rising star Maycee Barber, dropping a unanimous decision to Lauren Murphy in June. The 37-year-old veteran does most of her damage drawing out the battle, winning 15 of her 24 career wins by decision. Many will argue that if Barber did not tear her ACL in that bout, Modafferi would not have won, which would have her on a three-fight losing streak. Throughout her tenure in the UFC, Modafferi lands 3.98 significant strikes per minute but absorbs them at a much higher rate of 6.83 significant strikes per minute. The Happy Warrior does own a victory over her opponent, Andrea Lee, but that was several years ago before Lee developed into the skilled fighter she is now.
