Chris Paddack Day-To-Day With Sprained Ankle
4 years agoUpdating a previous report, San Diego Padres starter Chris Paddack (ankle) was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle. X-Rays returned negative and he’s day-to-day. The 24-year-old righty exited Thursday’s contest after just two innings, allowing a solo home run and fanning four. Paddack has been inconsistent in 2020, holding a 4.74 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 9.5 K/9 in 49 1/3 frames. Seemingly dodging a bullet, fantasy managers should tentatively expect Paddack to make his scheduled start next Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He’ll be a shaky SP3 in that matchup.
