4 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford was placed on the bereavement list prior to Friday’s contest against the D-backs, with Dee Strange-Gordon taking his spot at shortstop. Crawford will have to miss at least the next three games -- with a maximum of seven -- before he can return to the lineup. He has delivered a .339 on-base percentage through his first 41 games this season, but with his OPS at just .681, Crawford has little season-long fantasy intrigue at this stage. Expect Strange-Gordon to see an increased role with Crawford out, giving him DFS upside appeal due to his blazing speed.--Jesse Borek
