If Richmond Raceway was a girl, she wouldn't own a dress, and her hair would always be a mess. That's lyrics from the 1999 hit song "Meet Virginia" by Train, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write up something corny due to Richmond Virginia housing the corniest short track of our generation (according to NASCAR Twitter). I'm personally always excited for races under the lights so this take personally doesn't phase me, but regardless, shoutout to the homie Virginia (you know who you are).
Coming off of last Sunday's race in Darlington, Harvick sneak attacked his way into the round of 12 by stalking his prey from a distance until they wiped themselves out. This guy is arguably the slickest NASCAR driver of our generation, and is on pace to get his second championship this season. The only thing standing between Harvick and the trophy is Denny Hamlin, who happens to be "The Hometown Kid" this weekend.
Hamlin has a great record at this track, but like last week, I'm feeling weird about him. I'm not saying to fade Hamlin, but I feel like Harvick should take full control of this thing from the jump. There are also some other Joe Gibbs Racing guys I feel could out preform Hamlin points-wise in this race, and my "gut boi energy" is strong for this one.

Kevin Harvick #4
(DraftKings $11,300 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +400 )
Were back on Harvick for what feels like the millionth time this year, and you have to respect it. There's no need to get cute in the playoffs, and with Harvick on the pole at this track, we should expect to see a lot of laps led. This is another race where Harvick is the favorite, but he does have company.
Martin Truex Jr. #19
(DraftKings $10,900 | FanDuel $13,000 | DK SportsBook +400)
Truex Jr. hit em' with that flex last season with the clean sweep at Richmond, and after his last minute escapade at Darlington, he's ready to quench his thirst for victory. Truex Jr. starts in P14 on Saturday night, and is a prime candidate for positive place differential. Aside from the excellent DFS play he should shape out to be, his odds to win are identical to Harvick's.
Kyle Busch #18
(DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $11,700 | DK SportsBook +700)
I'm ready to "Busch It" real good Saturday night with Kyle at this price point. Chef BoiRDeen and I are pretty high on Rowdy in the playoffs, and I really feel that the come back is underway. With the recent runs Kyle has had, I expect him to be a factor in DFS lineups this weekend.
Matt DiBenedetto #21
(DraftKings $7,500 | FanDuel $8,800 | DK SportsBook +8000)
Matty D (AKA Debbie) is in a tight spot now that the NASCAR Playoffs are under way, and I dont expect him to lay over a die out. DiBenedetto starts P16 on Saturday night and his record at short tracks this season hasn't been too bad. Be sure to take advantage of the price on DraftKings.

Chris Buescher #17
(DraftKings $5,900 | FanDuel $6,200)
Buescher has been somewhat quiet this season, but you could argue that he's just moving in silence. When you look into the stats, Buescher doesn't have a great record at Richmond, but he's done decent at short tracks this season when starting deeper in the field. With his starting position of P25 combined with his price, he is the best value when looking to top off your lineups for Saturday.
Bubba Wallace #43
(DraftKings $7,100 | FanDuel $6,000)
Bubba has been the hot story this past week with his decision not to return to RPM in 2021. Based on this move, It tells me that he most likely already knows where he is headed next season, but we aren't playing him based on the narrative of racing for a ride. Wallace starts in P30 on Saturday, and this creates huge potential for positive place differential (especially at a short track).
Ryan Newman #6
(DraftKings $7,000 | FanDuel $8,000)
Newman did us right last week in Darlington, so after finding out his starting position of 21st, I had to double down. In the last two races at Richmond, Newman finished both of them inside the Top 10. To put it in simple terms, dont sleep on the Oscar Meyer man this weekend.
John Hunter Nemechek #38
(DraftKings $6,500 | FanDuel $5,000)
Nemechek started the 2020 restart off with a bang, but has been on the decline ever since. This Saturday he starts P31 and is another option for a value play based on his stats at short tracks, and price. Off the racetrack, Nemechek recently found out that he is going to be a dad, and I'm hoping that feel good energy will push him forward in life and on the track this weekend.
