4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher Brett Anderson was scratched from his start Saturday against the Cubs due to right hip tightness. The team will instead send southpaw Brent Suter to the mound for his second start of the season. The deepest that Suter has gone into a game this year came during his first start (Aug. 31), when he was able to ramp up to 50 pitches; he is likely in a similar range Saturday. Anderson could be available during the team’s upcoming series against St. Louis, with manager Craig Counsell merely moving the club’s planned bullpen day up to Saturday.--Jesse Borek
