Anthony Rizzo Receives Night Off Saturday
4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is not among the club’s starting nine Saturday against Milwaukee and left-hander Brent Suter. Rizzo has slumped mightily over his last eight games, having gone just 3-for-30 with a .376 OPS in that span. Kris Bryant will instead man first base Saturday, as Rizzo avoids a lefty starter after having produced a .135 SLG against southpaws this season. The next chance that Chicago will have to get their first baseman back in the mix comes Sunday versus righty Adrian Houser, who has yielded a .358 BA and 1.003 OPS to left-handed hitters thus far in 2020, making Rizzo an upside DFS selection based on his price tag.
