4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler ran for 84 yards on 19 attempts in the tight win over Cincinnati on Sunday. He also added a catch for three yards. This was a respectable performance from the veteran despite conceding attempts to 2020 fourth-round selection Joshua Kelley, who managed to run for 60 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. The rookie should continue to get work moving ahead, but likely not at the capacity we saw in Week 1. Ekeler should remain starting in all formats, especially ones that reward a point-per-reception, against the Chiefs in Week 2 as he should pick up the pace on the receiving end at some point during the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
