4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara scored two touchdowns- and nearly had a third- en route to a 34-23 victory over the Buccaneers. His potential third score was overturned. It was a rough day for Kamara on the ground against Tampa Bay's strong front, as he picked up just 16 yards on 12 carries, but the touchdowns and his work in the passing game gave him a good stat line. The newly-paid back was actually outpaced in the ground game by Latavius Murray, though it's nothing to be worried about moving forward. Kamara will look to have a better day on the ground in Week 2 against the Raiders, who allowed 96 rushing yards to Christian McCaffrey.--Tim Capurso
