4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is officially listed as day-to-day after an MRI on Monday revealed a mild hip strain. The club does not plan on putting Realmuto on the IL due to the injury, but he is likely to miss a few more contests, ceding way to Andrew Knapp and Rafael Marchan behind the dish. In his final season before free agency, Realmuto has had his best offensive year yet, compiling a .267/.357/.527 slash line and 132 OPS+ in 41 games. The preeminent catcher in the Majors for fantasy production, Realmuto's absence will loom large, but doesn’t appear set to cost him the remainder of the 2020 year.--Jesse Borek
