4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto combined to go 2-for-5 with two homers, two RBI, and two walks in his team's doubleheader sweep over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. Votto's power at the plate is starting to come around as he now has three home runs over his last seven games. Overall, it has been a disappointing season for the veteran, who is hitting just .225 with nine homers, 25 runs, and 16 RBI in 151 at-bats.
