4 years agoMackenzie Dern (8-1) did what she does best in May, which is win by submission. She defeated Hannah Cifers with a knee bar in the first round. To nobody's surprise, five of Dern's eight wins have come by submission. Her opponent for Saturday night, Randa Markos, has eight losses, with just one by submission. Her other seven losses are by decision. It will be an absolute grind for Dern to defeat a tough veteran in Markos. Though she absorbs almost four strikes per minute, once the fight is on the ground, few to none are her peers. Dern should absolutely be rostered for Saturday night's card.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
