4 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez was placed on the paternity list prior to Tuesday’s contest against Pittsburgh, allowing Freddy Galvis to enter the starting nine against right-hander Joe Musgrove. Suarez has been scorching hot over the past two weeks, compiling a .720 SLG with six homers and 15 RBI over his past 15 games. Mike Moustakas shifted over to the hot corner Tuesday, a move that could remain over the coming days, while Galvis and Kyle Farmer could also see time there. The next time that Suarez could return is Friday versus the White Sox.--Jesse Borek
