Keep Joe Mixon Starting Against Cleveland
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was undoubtedly one of the biggest flops in Week 1 against the Chargers, as he finished with just 69 yards off 19 carries for a miserable 2.0 yard-per-carry mark. He also underwhelmed catching passes out of the backfield by hauling in just one catch for two yards. Thanks in part to a lack of a familiar rapport with rookie quarterback Joe Burrow and the atrocious play of the team's offensive line, Mixon got off to a rough start to the 2020 campaign. Nonetheless, his fantasy outlook for the remainder of the year is still favorable, and he has a strong chance of getting back on track against a Browns Defense that got slaughtered by the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday. Fantasy managers should keep Mixon classified as a must-start in all formats on Thursday night.
