4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Mike Fiers allowed one earned run in six innings pitched to earn a win at Colorado on Wednesday. Fiers gave up seven hits, but didn't walk a batter to escape baseball's toughest pitching environment with a victory. Fiers only struck out four which is common for him as he averages just 5.7 K/9 on the season. His ERA and FIP are both well above four so despite the good start Wednesday, he's not a name to chase for the last week of fantasy baseball.
