4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney is trying to finish up his season strong and is posting a 2.84 ERA in the month of September. Heaney has talented stuff but his inconsistencies have continued this season. The big left-handed starter is posting a solid 9.48 K/9 rate this season but also endured a five-start stretch of posting a 5.27 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. The Angels have long thought that Heaney could be a top of the rotation starter but his potential has failed to turn into consistent results. Heaney should have 1-2 more opportunities on the mound to head into the offseason on a high note.--Joey C - RotoBaller
