Tyler Mahle Tames White Sox In Strong Start
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle pitched well in a 7-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Mahle allowed just one run over 5 2/3 innings while striking out eight and walking two. The start was especially impressive considering it came against a White Sox lineup that has been one of the most dangerous in baseball this season. Mahle has been a solid starter for Cincy this year, posting a 2-2 record, 3.97 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts in 45 1/3 innings of work. His next start of the season comes against the Milwaukee Brewers, a spot where fantasy gamers can consider keeping him active.
