James Conner, Benny Snell Jr. Expected To Split Carries
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running backs James Conner and Benny Snell Jr. are expected to split carries moving forward. Conner left the game against the Giants early after getting injured and Snell Jr. made the most of the opportunity, posting a 100-yard day. While Conner is playing on Sunday against the Broncos, this is not an encouraging development for his fantasy prospects in the near future. Both backs could be used for fantasy purposes in a tough Week 2 matchup, though there is some risk due to the uncertainty of how the touches will be split. It's entirely possible that Snell Jr. snatches the lead back role from Conner this week.
