4 years agoIn his closest call to date, Kevin Holland (19-5) squeaked out a split-decision victory over Darren Stewart. Holland led in the strikes department, landing 74 significant strikes (163 total). His takedown game was not working Saturday, though, whiffing on his three attempts. The third round was a rough one for Holland, as he suffered a few takedowns and was on the wrong end of many of Stewart's strikes. Holland now has three decision victories in the UFC, so he's shown that if he's placed in the Octagon with a fighter who cannot knock him out or submit him, the chances are better for Holland to walk out with the victory.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
