Dion Lewis Scores Touchdown In Loss To Bears
4 years agoNew York Giants running back Dion Lewis had 10 carries for 20 yards and a touchdown after starting running back Saquon Barkley (knee) left with an injury. Lewis added four catches for 36 yards in the loss at Chicago. Lewis will be a popular waiver wire add, but he won't take over the role Barkley played in the offense. Wayne Gallman was inactive for Sunday's game but will also be in the mix for early-down work. Where Barkley's injury opens a door for Lewis is as a passing-downs back, a role he excelled in with the Titans. Lewis caught 84 passes over the past two seasons and averaged 6.7 yards-per-reception. He is a strong waiver add in fantasy, especially in PPR leagues, but fantasy managers shouldn't break the bank for Lewis.
